Invincible Season Four Delayed After Sleepy Animator Adds Wrong ‘Bad Alien Dad’ to Episodes

From a bush outside of Skybound Studios, I can now confirm that Invincible season four has been delayed after an overworked animator mistakenly added popular Dragon Ball character, Goku, to numerous episodes. Show creator and executive producer, Robert Kirkman, confirmed the season’s delay outside of the studio this morning to members of the press.
“You know, we were pushing pushing pushing to get the new season out, and maybe we bit off more than we could chew.” Kirkman said as he jotted down some notes on his arm for another comic series he’s planning. “I’d love to have Goku in the series, but even with us doing the demon arc in the show, I don’t think we could connect the dots to make Goku make sense. Maybe we can work him in during the reboot arc, but for now, we’re scrapping these episodes and starting from scratch, hence the delay.”
Kirkman refused to name the animator at fault but assured members of the press that the studio’s animators are in good hands.
“Other animation studios are rough on their animators. We’re a little less rough on ours,” Kirkman said, as studio security tranquilized an animator who tried to leave the building for lunch. “Our animators see their families once a month. That’s more than they would if they were with a bigger studio. We also feed them when we remember.”
Predictably, fans showed their disdain online following the news of the delay.
“A delay? With those PNG art styles? Lazy animators,” wrote one brave Twitter user with an anime profile picture.
“I’m still gonna watch it, but I’m not gonna watch it happily,” wrote another brave Twitter user with multiple numbers in their username.
“Release the Goku Cut,” demanded numerous users, eventually making #GokuCut trend on Twitter.
At press time Kirkman wondered if he remembered to feed and water the animators as he drove off the lot.
